The sound of me opening a big amonster energy drink, bought yesterday, february 6th, a the local store for under $3. This was, as i said, recorded february 6th, 2014, using a tascam dr-05. Narration included; however, you can cut out the naration and use just the sounds as well in a separate creatively engineered recording of your own. The name monster energy is copyright by its respectivecopyright holders, and is used only as a reference. Feel free to modify the recording and use any / all of it as you wish in any creative works. Rainy day in the city of tel aviv, israel. Some rain outside with light traffic and people. Recorded from a third-floor window during daytime. Recorded with zoom h5 with its built-in stereo xy mics.

Recorded inside a closet. Low noise, not much reverb. Sounds almost machine-like with a satisfying thump. Recorded on a phone. I messed around with it to get it to sound nice. In case you do something that mixes the channels: on the opening part i copied a 5khz to 8. 5khz band from the left to the right channel, so that frequency band is mono.

Birmingham uk new street pedestrian zone (outside the odeon) on mid afternoon sunday. The sound of hundreds of people moving through the space, some briskly, others taking their time, answering phone calls, and children suddenly stopping. H2 zoom front mic pointing 45 degrees up to catch ambient sound, wind shield, not too much wind noise.

This is a sound i created specifically for a video a made a while back. It is heavily distorted, meant to sound like punches/blows to something or someone - sort of ip-man style. The original recording was done by repeatedly tapping a table with my fingers, so if you want to create something similar but without the distortion, think in that direction.

All surface to air fireworks are illegal but, due to covid-19 cabin fever, people just didn't care this year. This recording is almost 99% voice free. There was a couple on a balcony that are barely heard muttering something in just a minute or two of this recording. For the most part, it's clean. I kept the peaks very low to maintain a natural sound. All of my sounds recordings are provided free of all charges. Recording of a door being opened and closed, and then opened and closed again. Very slight footsteps (on carpet) can be heard. The microphone (sennheiser mkh-50) was intentionally placed about 5 feet away from the door and aimed slightly off-axis so as to capture more of the natural room sound/reverb. I have another recording available of the exact same door and mic setup, but aimed on-axis for a more direct recording (it still has a slight bit of room sound - that was what i wanted for these two recordings). Recorded into a tascam 208i audio interface and into adobe audition. Very minor processing (low-cut at 80hz to remove low-freq rumble).

I have recorded a sound made by crumpling a paper. Then i have recorded the noise made by scratching a streaked lid with a spoon. Then i have generated a pluck ( pitch 100), repeated it till the end, and added a “wahwha effect”. I used audacity.
